I had a super day today! Went to two flea markets and came away with what you see here. The last photo: all 14K gold. All stamped 585. The earrings in the foreground may be diamond earrings. I have to get the stones tested.
The vintage lion pendant is by Fredrich Speidel of Pforzheim Germany. The chain says 14K and something else not readable, so I will have it tested. I think it's rolled gold or gold filled.
A very old (1880s +/-) brooch with a military man's photo.
An unmarked silver ring with a beautiful green stone.
A sterling silver stars ring.
A costume cameo pendant by EXQUISITE.
Two sterling silver chains. One needs a new clasp (no problem)
Aurora Borealis crystal necklace that needs restringing.
Three adorable owls:
carved bone with the letters "LW" on the top.
Gold plated steel ( I think) with steel eyes paperweight - quite heavy.
Old owl bank made in Holland by WIP ( not a clue....lol)
Assorted 14K items.
Thanks for looking!

Another great haul, Bonnie. It's very obvious you know what you're doing. Your years of experience, research, and knowledge which you so generously share with all of us are a great benefit, we are lucky to have someone like you here on CW to share what you know so that those who wish to can learn from what you post. I for one am grateful for your posts on my threads, and there are many others besides me who have benefited from your help. I look at your page and see how many threads you post to every time you come to CW with your thoughts and opinions and the research which you take the time to do on our behalf, and it makes me admire you all the more, beyond admiring the beautiful and wonderful things you post. And not just you, it seems to me there are a lot of members on CW who go out of their way to help others, and that's part of what makes this site a community we love and enjoy participating in with each other. The fun of the hunt, the pleasure of sharing and seeing each other's collections, the camaraderie and friendships, the delight of solving mysteries and learning, the joy and laughter when we kid amongst ourselves, it's all good! :)
Oh, and, grrrrrrrrrr, lol. :))
katherine -Thank you so much~!! I really enjoy looking at what others find at markets, second hand shops or simply on the street. It's great fun and also a learning opportunity.
I love the Aurora borealis necklace! I have some loose beads from my mom's wedding necklace i ruined as a child...i promised myself to fix it one day...still sitting in my drawer. I wish i had such great hunting locations as you do every time =)
