This hatchet I picked up at an estate sale, it look like native American but not sure.. It's 13"long but that's all I know.

Looks Boy Scout to me. Certainly not Native American as this is forged.
Appears to be a circa 1950s Estwing "sportsman's axe."
Agree, that's an Eastwing handle.
