Here are a couple Horse related photographs from Unknown year and location. I don't even know the Horses or riders. But just too cool to let go. History with a little research who knows who know Horses !!!!! thanks for looking !!!!
Looks like it is doing like a Rack step. See Tennessee Walking horses doing those. Not sure if that horse a Tenessee Walking horse, as it looks a little more stockier.....Maybe a Morgan Horse.
Looks like the bottom is signed with ?? FREUDY - NY or something like that
Does it, or does it not ( or could have ) anything to do with PSYCHOANALYST SIGMUND FREUD??
That would be neat IF there was a connection of some sort....???
As he did Photography back in the 1930's I think...
AR, this looks more like one of the American gaited horses to me. Gait doesn't look to match a Tennessee walker, and the bridle doesn't match either; and I live in Shelbyville, which is the Walking Horse Capital of the World...
It might be Rack Stepping....and the *Second pic of the horse looks shorter and stockier -- so I thought that pic might be a Morgan horse. The first pic might be a saddlebred?? Lovely Pictures !!!!!
I worked in the Horse Racing Industry for 20+ years, not that means anything.....LOL. I had thoroughbred at the Farm. Not a race horse, but a Pleasure/Gymkhana horse
hey doesn't William Shatner has Walking horses?
Just a nice pic here

I grew up around walking horses and worked in the stables as a teen, There were also many of the gaited horses at the various shows.
I read that Shatner owned a breeding farm in Kentucky.
Here's a Tennessee walking horse:

WoW, you all are teaching me so much, The walkers, Gaited Horses, Rack Stepping. Thank you all so much, I'm Researching till I figure this one out. I believe the photographer was ted freudy, researching.
Im a little late to the party, but Freudy was a well known photographer, pnts, Madison Square Garden Horse show, etc. I hunted with the Essex Fox Hounds in Peapack, NJ in the early 80's and he was still taking photos then (or maybe an underling.)
