    Okay, have at it and identify this chair! I think it's called a parlor chair? Purchased today at an estate auction, 7 hours into the auction when they just wanted to get rid of things.

      Victorian, Eastlake time period. Yes I've heard of them as parlor chairs. They are called such if they went with a love seat and maybe another chair. It also would be referred to as a side chair if it was part of a dinning room table set.
