Wide wood chair with grooved armrest cushion seated engraved

Very unique chair. I have not been able to find another like it it has a wider seat and is a little bit shorter than the average chair it does appear to have been reupholstered on the seat. Belonged to my great-grandmother would be great to know what era this came from
