The large head is very heavy don't know what it is, does have this on back-think it is a jocana then a c that has a circle around it and then a . 1924. dont know what it is made of or what country..
Now the woman is about 14" tall very heavy on a stand, beautiful did the hot needle test did not go through it so it's either bone or Ivory, she has yellowed with age which I think is a good sign, would love to know about either, she has an 5 and and a Japanese marking or her back..
If you have an ideal I would love to hear them..
The lady with a sunflower appears to be lost wax molded composition, probably made in Italy and dating from 1960 on. The sunflower is a lesser auspicious symbol in Chinese art signifying good luck, happiness, long life. Is there a symbol on the bottom of the statue ?
As for the copyright symbol and 1922 on the bronze bust: PRC copyright began in the last quarter of the last century, so this piece is also likely European and Art Deco
Mahalo wexval, the lady is on a stand and there is nothing on the bottom, on here is a 5 or an s and a symbol that looks like this#, so they are not worth anything but the love my grandmother had for them I think your saying? Mahalo again for your comment..
I did not mean to say that they are not valuable. The bronze piece could be worth much more than the resin, but I could not find one like it.
