Thanks for posting this neat car. I would like to try and help but I need more info......How big is it?
      What is it made of?
Are there any markings on the bottom?
All of these things would help the people on here help you to know what you have...It looks kinda like a Franklin Mint piece but without the other info I can't say more..

I thought it looked like a Franklin Mint also, which would not be very valuable. It also looks more like a pressed steel toy opposed to cast iron or tin. The driver also appears more detailed than would have been common to an authentic period piece. If you have more pictures, including the bottom of the car, and a little more info we could probably get a pretty good idea of what it's worth.

This MAY be a modern decorator item.

The typically seen decorator ones are made of resin-- I cannot tell if yours is resin.

The resin models (again not sure if this is resin) were retailed at Hobby Lobby several years ago.

The ones at Hobby Lobby were not toys-- they were decorator items. They were display items out of a resin material.

I am certain that other retailers offered similar items. I saw them at Hobby Lobby.

I must have missed that documentation or it being mentioned.

At any rate, this car is similar to those sold at Hobby Lobby within the last 10- 20 years. Is it a Hobby Lobby car-- I cannot tell for certain. More detailed photographs are needed as well as confirmation of construction material(s).

In my opinion it doesn't resemble a 70- 80 year old item.
