My grandmother passed in 2006 and she had this lamp as long as I can remember. My mom took it home... and sadly, mom passed in January. Now I have it. I'm not finding anything like it online at all. It has a pen holder area on the base, the shade is tilt-able/adjustable, it has a really detailed key switch and the original socket and plug (this plug is so old I've never seen one like it). From my own online research I think it is slag glass and bronze... and "JustAnswer.com" told me it was from the late 1800's. It has NO markings visible. I read it may have a marking inside the base but I'm not about to take it apart. It's extremely heavy - about 15" tall and about 12" wide. I'm really interested in knowing who made it and where (and when if "late 1800's is inaccurate). If anyone has idea of value that would be great too :)
