Hi there CW Gang:
Thought I would post this * Embroidery Sampler * if I should call it that -- as I have NO idea how old it is -- or not?? No date of anything on it. Bought is about 7 or 8 years ago for something like $ 5 bucks. I liked that it was framed as someone loved it, and the design seemed to be a bit primitive in nature -- Not that is it. Just different than the type of Embroidery things I have here from my Mom and Granny and that is going back a few years with their stuff/designs. So I just bought it on a Hunch.....Probably will never know age, but then again I have never taken it out of the frame either. In Storage still after I moved 2 years ago. I must dig it out and take a peek maybe.......
Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

Thanks LEAH, So glad you liked it -- and Nice to have you Back ~ HUGS ~ from me to you
Very nice and how I feel about you too :-)
i believe this was a bucella needle point kit that was sold in the late 70s -- did one just like it for my guest room and hung it above the bed for decades -- mine had a pink frame insert around the item -- guess it was my pink period as everything in the guess room was done in pink roses -- sure that room just gave the husbands a total creep out as the room was much too fem fatal -- sure if i dug around in my trunks i could find it again -- through the years my taste changed but after all the long hours spent on it -- just could not part with it -- that will have to be someone else call after i pass -- thanks for the journey down memory lane and sharing it -- so nice to know that persons such as your self enjoy the hand goods -- so many get tossed in the landfills and end up as shop rags or at the bottom of the sea -- perhaps the sharks are enjoying some of them also
Don't know anything about samplers Rosie, but it has such a wonderful sentiment... I can see why you bought it!
lol....I call it Shabby Chic look to it......
