This is a garage sale find from many years ago. I've always wondered about the age and maker of this music box/pendant. I'm not sure what materials are used for the shell...brass or plated material? I see some peeling or discoloration on the edges.
I'd like to know more. My search leads me to many various music pendants but nothing like this one. Any info is much appreciated!

How gorgeous! What a great find. I've never seen one. I did a Google Image search but didn't manage to find one exactly like yours.

What a cool thing, I've never seen a pendant like that! There are quite a few music box pendants on the Google search page, I didn't see one that matched yours:

What song does it play? I love it! My guess would be Sankyop. Look up * Sankyo musical pendant * on google.

Bonnie, thank you for your lovely comment and for your time and effort. And i learned something new -Google image search! Had no idea about it =)

Nutsabotas, thank you for your nice comment and love!

Katherine thank you for the link and your lovely comment. I did find a few similar looking items, not sure if this is it, since most of them, including mine, are not signed.

Celiene, thanks for the love and a lead. While i haven't found an exact one, i think it might be Sankyo judging by a similar style of a couple of their items although mine is not signed. I don't know the melody the box plays, nothing familiar to me =(

Aura, Vetra, Rick, MyFavoriteTreasures, Mike, Radegunder, Roy, Martika- thanks for stopping by and your appreciation!

There were a few Sankyos in the thumbnails, they had the name right on the inner works. Yours doesn't quite have the look, but could be. :)

Hey AnnaB in answer to your questions about digging the first green coffin shaped bottle I posted was or could be the best I've found none like it possibly 15 to 200 depending on what it is. The fourth post of mine a Royalite dealer sign and all credit Cards accepted with about 10 square and round oil cans is the most valuable. 400 to 700 dollars. I've got a few pictures of my digging spots. And stuff I'm not posting if you would like I'm at r.clarke@hotmail.can if interested in seeing. Take care.
