Pale blue glass bowl that screams Art Deco in style, but is it? Can't find one similar, so thought I would ask on here to see if anyone has any idea on age, maker etc. it's 24 cms long, 18 cms across and about 10 cms deep. The feet are quite chipped and scratched, which would suggest age.
Believe mystery Solved .... It is an "Art Deco period pressed glass fruit bowl by Stolzle, pattern number 19403, and made at their Hermanova Hut factory around the 1930's""...IS yours kinda frosted?
See link for another one:

yup, if from around 1930 -- It has some Age to it !!
Thank you very much. The bands are frosted with pattern of leaves, but that is the only frosting. There are no marks of any kind on it but it does look like the Hermanova Hut bowl.
Your welcome. Now your Mystery is solved.
You could also change out your title since ID is found -- Helps when we need to find ( dig ) for things on CW. Could put the title as: "Art Deco Hermanova Hut bowl- Pressed Glass Bowl ".............or something like that. I merely say that as I was trying to find something here the other day, and I could not even though I knew it had been ID. That's all.
Look forward to your other posts
Nice solve, Rose! :)
I could be wrong but I believe TallCakes told me this style of glass is called Elegant.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Have changed title.
The blue is really gorgeous - I can hear it screaming......
