Jacky's boat knife. Shackle slot for unscrewing pins on shackles (of course!), blade & marlin spike (for splicing & untying knots). Going to have to explore that bag further !

I never saw a "shackle slot" before. I don't have a lot of knowhow about boating tools. I've learned something to look for. As they say, "If you keep your mind open , you can learn something ever day"
Hot air, I didn't know either & only 1 out of 4 boat people guessed right. I researched it via boat knives.
How long would it take to sail to Florida from your Island BB2 ?
About 1,1-1.2 hundred miles to MIA as the bird flies. That's down wind going north so you can't go faster than the wind so probably 7-9 knts.. Give it 12 - 14 days if winds are good to you. Bon chance. I can probably get you a job crewing but that rise & fall of deep swells going downwind has gotten me the closest to seasick as I've ever been.
I was in a storm on a passenger ferry going To Newfoundland and on bottom of the swells looking out and up at the waves from the third deck still gets me ill. My aunt is going too Nassau from Miami in July on a sail, boat.,looking on a map it looks closer. When the perfect storm hit in the 90, Was living 200 km from Sable Island wave were higher than the wave bueys capacity to measure.
Haven't done the MIA to Nassau thing in decades, but think that is only about 90-100 mls. If you are sailing, you have to aim the pointed end a lot further south to cross the Gulf Stream.
Lol not me im useless when i lose site of land. Shes 71 and still going strong.
Well off to work Buss have a great weekend and take care.
You have a good one too, Caper.
