This rather large (1 3/4" high) Labradorite (not Iolite as I initially thought) pendant and dragon pendant were in the same jewelry case. (the chain is mine for display purposes) The thrift shop was reorganized and the nice jewelry is now in a separate room. The counter person does not, apparently, recognize semi-precious gems or stamped silver. I was told it was a "stone".
I got the two pieces for $12.00.

I've heard of Iolite but never seen it used in anything. They can even look like sapphires when cut from what I've read. The dragon pendant it cool too ! Great finds :)

The beautiful pear stone is rather a Labradorite :-)
Labradorite is what i thought, too, but wasn't 100% sure as im not a gemologyst :-) i love this gemstone and have several pieces with it. What a lucky find!
Kyra - Initially I had thought it was Iolite. I have looked up Labradorite, I see the difference. I also had thought it might be Mystic Topaz ( haha too much to hope for!).
