    I love the colors the cherries on this piece of old french majolica. I had seen this bowl in blues but prefer this one and cannot wait to fill it with some great Michigan cherries. Salins les Bains was an old factory opened in an Abbey around 1859.

      stunning.....is it a french factory or does it just have a French name.
      I assume as the factory is in an abbey then it is French?

      Thanks Anne. The factory was located in the eastern part of France but closed up about 20 years ago.
