These earrings were included in an earlier post. I went to visit the jeweler today. The jeweler is also an appraiser, so she double checked the stones. The real deal.
I changed the photos to show the back, which is done in 14K yellow gold. The 585 is within an oak leaf, which means the design is registered at the assay office in Waarborg, Netherlands. There is also another 585 stamp next to that one.
Thanks for looking!

Bonnie! Can't you stop posting these constant bargains?
I know some Auntie who will be very upset :-D
Kidding apart, beautiful hunting result!
wow great find !!
LOL @ kyra! You know what they say: If you can't run with the big dogs then stay on the porch.
Barf!!!
50 #@% cents?!!? WITH the box, TOO?!!? :p
Nevada.... perhaps the box was 99.50 :-P
As we know our Bonnie, the haul was 3 (free???) ;-)
NevadaBlades - the box was free, courtesy of my good friend Geri who owns the local pawn shop. She supplies me with jewelry boxes. :-)))
You're hilarious, kyra! :-D
GOLLY,.......! [;>)
Bonnie - I will allow you to be smug, just this time OK? Other times, I will allow you to just be proud.
Auntie doesn't buy things, you know that Kyra. She has somehow had them a "while" and wonders about them a lot.
Wow what an incredible buy!I have enlarged and sharpened the photo but cannot see the diamonds lol:)
Is it possible for you to take a closer photo of the stones ?Also are there any hallmarks and could you take a photo of the back of the earring ?thanks
Bettyboo - these earrings are sooooo hard to photograph properly, but I will give it a try. The only hallmarks are the 585 (14K) stamped on the gold posts.
racer4 - "wonder woman" takes on a whole new meaning....
So - you must live in Europe, preferably a mid-size town. You must have a jeweller as a friend. You must have pawn shops, second-hand shops, and a sprinkling of antique stores quite close at hand, and of course you must have exquisite taste, and very, very good eyesight. The only thing I have, and I say this with the utmost modesty, is exquisite taste.
I am continuously amazed by the beautiful things you find.
Gillian, I live in the very small village of Sweikhuizen, with about 600+ residents, in the southern tip of the Netherlands. This is an exclusive village, as there are no apartment buildings here. There are at least 10 thrift shops not far from my home. The borders of Belgium and Germany are a bike ride away. I can walk just to the corner of my street and see Germany. There are flea markets all year round.
Thank you so much for the compliments!
Wowser.....You can find them !!
You GO GIRL !! Keep finding them !!
antiquerose > > > FOUR flea markets on Sunday morning!! Got my money, got my bag, got my jewelry junkie sensor all charged up...!!
I'm sending you a dollar I'll take two.
Hahaha Caperkid! :-)))))
