This is an antique table lamp of my mother's. She purchased it about 15-20 years ago from an antique store. I have seen one other similar on this site named Cupid's Psyche. I think it is very beautiful and unique!

A nice item but when your mother bought it - it was a reproduction. This one is made mostly of resin with some metal. If the base is filled in, it is a reproduction or if the statue is, but probably no way to remove from base, as most of that part is resin. They started to come out with them in the later 80s but by 1991 there were quite many on the market. I used to use the same in my book store at the time. There are many on the net with the same shades which are reproduction also.
