I have what I believe to be a 1950's Wheel-Horse Garden (mini) tractor. I found in the woods the other day and decided to bring it home so I dragged it out of the woods and brought it home with me.

I love the old Wheel Horses as I own a 64 and a 73. These little ones like you have are my favorites.
hey vontrike. you seem to know a little about these. do you know if its worth anything as is? or if its worth restoring?
Shes a little rough but if it was mine I would rebuild it cause these old horses are built heavy duty..Lots of work but really kool. Saw one last summer all kustom with krazy pinstriping and chrome. It had Chevy chrome wheels on the back with slicks. It was sweet.
I besides my military collecting hobby am a very good small engine mechanic and especially with Briggs and Strattons. That is not the original engine. The can date the engine what year it was made by the 1st two digits of the code number. Oh its definately worth restoring and is worth some as is! Very cool piece!!
yea, i figured the motor was definitely replaced. Where would I find the parts to rebuild it? and about how much does a whole restoration cost give or take? I found some pretty decent items on eBay but i really have no idea where to begin
Cool old Wheel Horse. Yours may just be a parts machine at this point though. Your missing alot of parts. I have 4 of them. It can get very expensive buying parts for them on ebay one part at a time. You may want to find another tractor that needs the parts you already have and make one good one. It should have a Kohler K91 or K90 Engine. I can't tell the year of your tractor from the pictures. It's made from 1958 to 1961.
