They are exactly the same design. What are the chances....
The sterling rose earrings were bought from a local second hand shop a month or so ago. The gold earrings were bought together with the 14K diamond earrings from a flea market. I had these checked out by the same person who examined the diamond earrings.
The silver roses are stamped "925"on the posts. The gold roses are stamped "585" within an oak leaf design, also on the posts. That means the design is registered at the Waarborg, Netherlands Assay Office. I can't post photos of the hallmarks because they are much too small and look like smudges in the photo.
Thanks for looking, CW friends!

I have a question "Girl". Are you Dutch, or a transplant ?
blunder - transplant, 1990. I'm from the Bronx.
And a Yank at that !! After living with the Dutch & French for 37 yrs one can tell. Use of idioms that would trip up the Dutch etc.. Speak Dutch now ?
LOL blunder! Yes, I speak Dutch and also struggle along with various dialects plus Flemish and German.
I admire anybody who can understand & speak Dutch, even if born & raised there ! The area you live in can change languages/dialects every 5 km. No Walloon ? I can get by with German, French, Spanish, papiamento & currently trying to learn English. Dutch & Finnish, beyond me.
It was meant for you to find them and bring them together:)
