Went picking in the country and landed this machine for 20 bucks. Can't find much out about it -- there's barely any records online of the "Dominion Sewing Machine Company".
Machine came with original case, manual, and warranty. Bill of sale is dated 1952. Can anyone tell me what this thing's worth?
This machine is a Japanese or Asian made import. That's great to have the original receipt. If you look at the underside casting, are there any letters or numbers?
They are not particularly valuable, you got it for a good price but it's not worth much more than that, should sew well.
This is a 15 clone, made in post WWII Japan, as part of USA's attempt to get Japan economy going again.
Would be thinking they were sold more in Australia maybe, as they are not common in US.
HA-1 manuals work for them too, they are easy to work on, and a nice straight stitch machine.
At most, you could get 50 dollars if you have the attachments for it and it works, more reasonable to expect to get 25-40 US.
