I would so much appreciate any help identifying the manufacturer of this tea set, it hold great sentimental value to my family. The set was given to my Great Grandparents for their 50th Anniversary in 1930, London, Ontario, Canada. The set consists of teapot, cream, sugar, salt and pepper.
Only the Teapot has a marking -I can make out "China Company, Hand decorated, 22 k gold", but cannot make out the name of the company. There is a very distinctive Sea Shell Logo around the company name.
The other distinguishing characteristic is a faint swirl pattern on the front of each piece.
Here it is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Pearl-China-lusterware-teapot-sugar-bowl-creamer-heavy-gold-trim-/182052735536?hash=item2a63304a30:g:NUkAAOSwv9hW3H1w
The colour seems a little different but definitely the correct maker.
Hoping mrodney comes back.
