I saw this little creature sitting on the table and had to have it. This work of art is made completely from metal and is life sized. (Holland has some pretty big grasshoppers.)
Enjoy!

Love it, of course ;-)
I bought some at a booth along the River Seine some years ago, and not able to find others now...
kyra - this the first one I've ever seen. How long ago did you buy yours? Do they look the same as mine? Get the photos up, girlie! :-)))
Bugs posted!
I got them about 6 years ago for 5€ each...
Oh my god, your collection is beautiful those horses are something else! Would you happen to know anything about that pottery? Maybe what era, anything! Id appreciate any feedback from you. Thank you for the compliment!!
That's pretty cool. I have one that's made of all metal but in a copper/bronze color.
Thanks to everyone for the comments/love! My grasshopper is hopping with joy, lol!
iggy - will you post your grasshopper? I would like to see it.
Barbaralopez13 - Pottery isn't really my forte, but I will see if I can help you. Those horses are lovely. I was surprised to find them. I knew they were special when I had them in my hands.
Yes I will, but give me a few days too dig it out of whatever box I put it in. I am demoing and refinishing my basement and I put all my 'things' away.
Efesgirl, I am sorry I cannot find my grasshopper. I hope I didn't sell it at my girlfriends garage sale lst yr. If I find it I will post it.
Hi iggy - ok, thanks for taking the time to look for it. I hope you find your "hopper"!
Thanks, everybody!
what a wonderful piece Efes!!!
