I know very little about this one other than it was covered in dust after sitting in an attic for 30 years. 24''x36''
The other painting is signed White Bird and is a mystery so far. Any Info would be appreciated.

???? how old looking is back?
I think it could be 100+ years old but haven't had it authenticated. All of the paintings Came from the same location and had been stored for 20-50 years. I will be posting several more pics. soon. I am kind of overwhelmed attempting to
sort and figure out what has value. I have several paintings predating 1800's. Several will have new home's in the future.
I know this is old, but I have information about this artist and wanted to share in case anyone else was searching:
Joseph Lytle Adams, originally from Crescent, Oklahoma. Settled in Waukomis, Oklahoma. Began painting full-time in 1968.
I have an informational bulletin with more details I would be happy to take a picture of and email to anyone interested.
This was painted by my great grandfather. We have a majority of his collection in our home; he didn't like to sell his paintings, and only sold a few in his lifetime in order to stay afloat. If you decide not to keep it in your home, we would love for it to come home with the rest of the collection.
If your interested I can add some pictures of his other works.
Hi,
I'd love more info on Joseph Adams. I have a painting that I got at a rummage sale in Pine Valley Ca. It's signed Joseph Adams and I've always been curious who he was. I think the date is 1980. I'll post pictures ~ Thanks, k beaudoin.
Joseph Lytle Adams was my father, born and raised in Oklahoma. He was a wonderful dad, funny and very talented. He was a direct descendent of the early president, John Adams. In his early days he took an art course from NYC. He went on to become a very talented artist, specializing in painting Oklahoma windmills, Texas blue bonnet scenes and angus cow scenes but painted many other landscapes as well. Elexus, he actually sold many paintings. Some he gave as gifts to the family and a few he kept. But he eventually started selling through art galleries and contracted out to a guy in Texas where he sold many to help support the family. His paintings went to various buyers throughout the United States, including the Dallas Cowboys football team, film stars and if I remember correctly, one hangs in the White House. One year, he was the only American artist to be invited to an art gallery showing in Paris, France where he displayed some of his finest work. Dad passed away in 1993 after suffering a heart attack followed by a massive stroke. For further information you can contact me at fantomfoxx@gmail.com.
