The angle is adjustable. All metal. Looks like a drill bit on the end. The handle rotates and it looks like you can insert a drill bit on that end as well. Thanks in advance for any information.

Precisely, bobby! This is an accessory for a standard drill brace allowing one to drill nearer to a corner or ceiling than would be possible with the brace itself. With this attachment you can crank the brace all the way around without running your knuckles into the wall.
Thank you for the information. It does have gears in the middle and the bit end rotates when you turn the handle.
UncleRon. There has never been a tool made that I can't hurt myself with. Re: "...without running your knuckles into the wall." "Nothing is foolproof ! Because fools are so ingenious !". I rest my case.
bb2 - Ha ha! I know da feeling!
bobby - It's a bit awkward. You can hold the handle part of that tool to keep pressure on the bit, and crank the brace; or even have somebody else crank it. There is also a "corner brace" made with a triangular frame which has the angle gearing built in. The jaw doesn't tilt and the handle is in-line behind the jaw so you can apply pressure to the bit more easily.
Since we're talking about drilling holes close to corners I'll post pics another brace that solves the problem.
