The cloth covered wiring was so brittle that the light fell from my house. It was seriously rusted so I had it sand blasted and powder coated. It has amber colored etched glass inside. I need to remember how to put back together and re- wire. Can anyone tell me anything about this beauty? Guessing about 18" high when put together. The socket is solid 1 and 1/2"ceramic - leviton brand. Thank you!!

I would think it is 1970's, a nice light.

I agree with Phil. Leviton would be the maker of the socket, not the light fixture.

I wanted to show you a picture of the original.. before I cleaned it
up but not sure where to attach photo here.
Anymore info on the fixture would be appreciated. ????

Yes agree with Phil -- around 1970's. Just google something like * Vintage Black Wrought Iron Swag Lamp * and you can see more examples. Yours is a better quality ( IMHO ) because it is marked with Italy! Anything marked is always a +++
