K, Forgot to mention my brother was an aquaintance of Barry Rawlings (young English Artist in the seventies) https://www.destinationaustralia.gov.au/site/records.php?task=detail&id=11924
He had acquired a genuine Picasso small plate with a figure of Don Quioti on it
I still have the image of it in our china cabinet, he'd asked my brother to look after it while he went to the gold coast on holiday. Geez, wonder of its value now??
