An attempt to be forgiven for the centipede!

    Low carat gold pin, unmarked.
Rhodolite/almandine garnets, rosecut diamonds set in silver.

This is the most tiny detailed bug I ever seen !!!
Pics #2 and 3 are taken on my index nail :-)

    Weight: 0.7g
    Length: 1 13/16in
    Length of Ladybug: 5/16in
    Width of Ladybug: 3/16in

Of course shipping costs from USA exceeded the price of the critter...

Little kyratisation: replaced 2 diamonds lacking in the eyes and one on end of the body (pic #4 is before)

Wow, great repair. I have a woman in another city fix my stones when they need repair. If I buy it from ebay I will often have the seller send it directly to her.

Hi Phil! Thank you for beeing so prompt!

Repairs are a big part of my pleasure :-D

Stones are so tiny I had to take a loup to sort them from my old rosecut mêlée and lot of time to set them properly...

You are lucky to know someone who can fix your jewellery :-)

Nothing to forgive, dear lady, the centipede was amazing, as are all the things you post on here. :) Tiny darling little ladybug, I love the ladybugs, so sweet. This is a perfect little beauty! :)

Katherine, I always try to find unusual... But the centipede... EEEEK :-)
      Thank you lovely Kath!

Martika, I think its tongue is out for you :-P
      Thank you!

Masterpearl, thank you for your visit and compliment :-)

Secretly I liked the centipede and would make it into a brooch. I love people's reactions when I wear spider brooches, imagine wearing that! ..am I bad?

I think this ladybird is more than adorable, it is fantastic and beautiful.

Racer, thank you ! Rather be dead than wear this one ;-D
Prefer the cricket, very cool and tricky :

I found one of those huge house centipedes in the bath one day. Sooooo disgusting. I didn't know what to so, so I poured half a bottle of dish detergent over it. I pray I never see one again.
You said you wish you had someone to send you fixables to - you don't mean your kyratisations do you?
This little one is amazing, it's so very tiny. Have you ever worn one of your bugs and scared someone who thinks it's the real thing?
    13. kyratango kyratango, 9 years ago
Boooh Gillian! Your centipede was very clean after this treatment ;-) ready to go to bed!

I would need someone for more difficult repairs or changes, or solders on gold.
      My kyratisations are my pleasure!
I wear a tiny painted cricket (older post) sometimes and each time someone try to brush it off :-)
Thank you for your centipede contribution and interest!

Thanks Glassiegirl and Radegunder for your love, you're brave!!!
