I bough these gorgeous earrings in the same shop where I got the big glass ring. Looking at them through the plastic bag, I initially thought they were plastic. Closer examination proved them totally not plastic and handmade. I see evidence of tiny soldering marks on the corners of the earring mount frames. No maker's name. The copper cleaned up great. I did several image/word searches but found nothing. I did see a similar pair listed on Etsy, but the ad had been removed so nothing left to see. I put the flashlight on them to show the design.
Thanks for looking/loving ~Bonnie ~
Love these! Like ocean drops, fitted for a mermaid :-D
kyra - have you seen earrings like these anywhere before? It's a shame that they aren't signed. :-((
This shape seems familiar, but not the high quality!
Never seen others the same :)
kyra - grrrrr..maddening, eh? I will keep looking. Maybe I will get lucky.
Shaped like an apostrophe.
Looks like something Mystique from X-Men would wear ~ SEXY!!! [;>)
NevadaBlades - yes, they are sexy! My earlobes aren't big enough to wear these earrings, so I usually stick with the pierced jewelry. I only have one pair of clip on earrings - 14k gold filled with an Omega clip - that fit perfectly.
valentino97 - thanks - yes, this is yellow copper in my part of the world
:-))
I used metal cream to polish them and the color came up beautifully. There was no sign of any verdigris on them, either. Unusual for costume jewelry which has been worn.
Not your run-of-the-mill costume jewelry. I wish my earlobes were big enough to hold them!
valentino97 - those two pair of rose earrings are small. I even sleep in them with no problems. I enlarged the photo to show the details. :-)))
