UPDATE: Ok, so did I seriously just solve my own glass mystery? I am finding that a) the 2 larger glasses, would be 11oz. Roly Poly-Royal Ruby, b) the next size 9oz., 4 each Roly Poly-Royal Ruby, and c) the smaller cocktail cups, 3.5oz Baltic-Royal Ruby (all by Anchor Hocking). If I'm wrong, please correct me!! Thanks!
Orig.Post: This will be my next work in progress research (and I promise, this is the last of my unidentified glass; any future glass purchases will not be made without positive ID FIRST) -- trying to find the origin of these glasses. Acquired them recently at an estate sale, have no clue as to their age, or who made them. Just wanted to show them, as I have them with my Anchor Hocking Tilt Ball Jug (NOT the originals to this jug, as the originals contained the swirl just as the jug does), but as a "married" set, only because they're the same color. Thanks for looking, MFT
Think I just solved my own glass mystery, who'd have "thunk" it! TallCakes, check me out!!
You do good work! I love the color. Haven't seen anything by Anchor Hocking so pretty as this set.
Yes, agree with Bonnie, that is very striking glass, what a beautiful ruby red color! :)
Thanks Bonnie and Katherine for the loves and wonderful comments! Katherine, again (and like the gold LOL), red is not my color but I guess I'll be adding to this as well. Geez, my son is so right -- hoarder, addicted, OCD collecting, what can I say!!
Also thanks for the loves - Mike, Caperkid, Aura, and Elisabethan! Always appreciated, MFT
It's a gorgeous set! Red is not typically my color, too, but i can't resist Garnet red, there's something mystical about it.
Anna, thanks for the wonderful comments and love; Sean, thanks for the love!
Nevada, thanks!
Thanks for the love, Trey, always appreciated, MFT!
Nicefice, thanks!
