Nice to see another cooler like mine. Do you plan to restore yours?
    4. roughy33, 13 years ago
Yes I am going to defidently going to restore it. I just need to find the time. Does yours have the origional compressor to ??

I just acquired a model FE-50 water-bath cooler like yours the compressor and motor are complete and operating just need some rewiring. Mine is missing the bottle opener chrome and the back screen. I can make these parts at work but my chrome strips around the bottom are pretty rough , I'm going to clean them up and paint them for now (too rough to blast and chrome). Since you've had yours for a while , would you know where to get them, I've tried Soda Jerks with no luck. P.S. the research I've done has the FE-51 as mid to late 40's with this model pre-dating that.
