This vintage sewing machine was my great, great grandmother's. The name on the machine is WAL DORF. There are no other identifying markings or numbers. It is mounted in a beautiful cabinet that opens and brings the machine up. It is in working order, but I can't find a owners manual as it needs cleaning and adjustments. Would like to get any information I can from somebody that in the know. Hope someone can help!

Hi I see the same Vindex type 1 machine with the same transfers with different names. Would these have been sold to different companies to resell? The one I have has SPECTATOR in the name area, does anyone know where this would have come from it is in Victoria Australia. Thanks

It would have been sold by a reseller, Ian :) Spectator isn't one I've come across - I wonder if you search on Trove? Whoever sold or carried that brand name as their house brand may have advertised them.
