Hello! I am a new member here. I found your site in an attempt to identify a set of china that I found. My husband and I purchased an old house in upstate NY that was filled with "treasures"! I have identified several items found, but this one is stumping me!
This set is beautiful! It is a robin's egg blue, with tiny brown speckles in the blue. Some of the photos look like they are different colors, but it's just the lighting! I tried to take a close up photo of the speckles! There are no marks of any sort on the back. There is a platter, dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, teacups and saucers. Each piece has a gold rim. Every piece also has a floral design, but I don't know what type of flower it is!
Does anyone know the maker of this set, or how old it is? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me! :)
Thanks Brian! I will check that maker and see what I can find. I have spent the day searching and I found a similar partial set on Ebay that they say may be unmarked Homer Laughlin, so I'm checking that too!
