Hi there CW Gang
I am posting this old family photo as my Dad is in this photo when he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force for WWII. It has gotten damaged over the years -- but still can see it pretty good. I assume this is an *Air Force* photo as I have another photo of just my Dad ( maybe taken the same day ) and it has his name on it and the words *AIR PHOTO * so I am assume they took that one --- and this one at the same time. These may have been taken at CFB - Edmonton. I am Proud to be a Veteran's daughter!! Lest we ever forget !! The last pic is a VINTAGE Remembrance Day Poppy as it has the *Green* center -- not the *Black center* as they make them now. I think this poppy is from around 1970 or 1980's ...or so. SEE I save everything.....LOL
The world today is such a Bad place and so much unrest. I worry for the world in the future and what it will be like. Military people HAVE so much to fight these days.
Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

No Rose 1960 _1985 We have a local man from Mackenzie who was an ace pilot in WW2 Tommy Michaels just named a chain of lakes after him and his wife. Nice touch.
