The item I have is a:

    Gold 18k Montblanc Fountain Pen

It is personalised with my great grandfathers name engraved onto the side of the pen with the date 1932. I can't get a decent shot of the 18k hallmark and the date but there a a few shots of the pen from above.

It is of sentimental value to my family but we were feeling inquisitive as to how much such an item would be worth?

    Thanks!

In Google Advanced Search Page, in Exact Phrase Field, key in:

Montblanc Fountain Pen 18k gold c1930

And you will find much information.

Please keep in mind that Monograms lower the value for a potential buyer, as mentioned by Antiques Road Show and Pawn Stars, etc.

Usually CW will not do appraisals, but if there's a will, there's a way to find out. :)
