This my 1931 Rocher tire inflator/ primer spark plug made in the USA patented in 1929. the plug does not have to be removed to inflate the tire , you just turn the key to the inflate position . the spark plug side of the plug will keep firing so no misses in the engine operation ... most other types of inflators require the plug to be removed , not so with the Rocher plug..

So basically it inflates the tire with hot exhaust gasses? Très étrange!

Very pleased to find this one I only know of another one which is in the Netherlands . No one in the SPCOA has come forward to say they have one so in the mean time I will say it is rare , and the moment we say that some one will find a shed full of them like they did with the Rentz Lighthouse plug..
