donated to the salvos. i dont know if it is hand made. certainly old. looks like real hair. is she rare or just a common doll. her face is sort of molded material, as in her nose and lips are protruding slightly.
hey doll lady. are you there?
1940s cloth mask face doll with decal eyes. The mask face is applied over the front of cloth head . These were common doll's but I have never seen one with decal eyes . These faces could be bought and used to make a doll and also sold as a made doll by several companies . However it does appear to possibly be factory made I wonder if eyes were applied later although they appear to be original to doll . Unique doll because of eyes . The face is not homemade but because I can't see seams of clothes not sure if they are factory made , These dolls always wore a hat to cover back of cloth head . Nice unique doll again because of eyes
The more I look at her because I can't see body It looks like they bought face and homemade body and clothes . Can you add photo of her undressed and the inside hem of dress ? You can email me photo's Manikin1234@hotmail.com
This is a random sample of your type of doll but your's is not a Norah Wellings doll.
