      I have this wire as well and believe it to be a variation of the Kelly patent #208,399 from Barriers by Campbell and Alison p. 84. There is also another image in the Early Barbed Wire Specimens exhibit #247. It looks great when one strand is fixed and the other is allowed to hang down.

      Thanks for the info. I can see how it could have derived from the Kelly wire. I haven't mounted it yet, it's a shorty wire (I know) and hard to mount.
