I inherited this table from my great grandmother. When we got it, it was covered in several layers of 'white wash'. I was told that my GGrandmother bought it from 'The Sears and Roebuck'. She was born in 1888, so I'd estimate she bought this around 1910 maybe? That's a pretty vague guess tho, so I could very well be wrong.
Anyway, the legs are in 2 sets, with each set attached at the top. The feet aren't small dainty eagle claws. They're pretty big with large claws on them. Each foot is resting on a small wooden like ball or roller.
If anyone has an idea of the year this table was made I'd really appreciate it.
thank you,
Hi there -- can you also post some more pics of the "whole table: for a view of everything.......just make it a part II of this post. and post another set of pics
Thanks
Are the wheels TOTAL CAST IRON or PORCELAIN FURNITURE CASTERS
I added photos to a Part II to this post.
The wheels are very solid. Not sure what they're made of tho.
I'll try using a magnet and see if they're metal.
