I have inherited odds and ends from my Grandma. I think this actually may have been brought from England from my Grandpa's side of the family, but it is possible this may have come from Grandma's side (came to Canada from US - family dates back to the Mayflower) I'm trying to find out more information about Myott "The Rideau" pattern but not having much luck. Any leads out there? Thanks!!

Can't get this link to work - sorry. In your search engine type in "Myott Collectors Club" - lots and lots and lots of information.

Sorry - just go with what I said in the 2nd comment. And this https://www.google.ca/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=myott+china&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gfe_rd=cr&ei=udj2Vs3NHoaN8QeC9bPABQ

Apparently they're taking down the Doulton site which somehow affects the Myott site.

      SO FRUSTRATING!.....................
Go to 'replacements' - go to almost the very end and you will find The Rideau. I promise.

Help - I need a drink. Sorry for all this jumbled up info. Myott china seems to have been a very well known make in Staffordshire, however, the web links are s--t.

What a great site. How do I get rid of my pathetic efforts?
    9. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
Gillian, don't be so hard on yourself, my friend...your efforts are not pathetic. I see quite a bit of Myott porcelain around here, so I have a pretty good idea of where to look for information. It takes time and learning. Sometimes I have to interpret the information from one website and use it to find other websites with more information. Not as easy as it sounds.

No, this is good!! I think that collector's club website is in the process of being updated...so I'll keep an eye on it. Looks like I may have a gravy boat, not a creamer...so I did learn that. This is all new to me, so these leads are helpful!

Gillian - I just picked up a 10" plate in this pattern and had the same trouble finding out anything about it. I guess it's somewhat rare.
