Looking for more information on my original working Thistle Turbo Jet pedal car. I have had this since new and received it as a Christmas present from my parents when I was a kid. I would like to know what year it was made, how rare it is and if I should restore it or leave it as it is. Any other information would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time

This should be easy, How old are you?
Definitely leave as is. More photos would be great, you are allowed four.
Thanks for the reply AzTom. I'll be 59 in June if that helps. Is this car rare or not? I'll take more pictures and post soon. I'm thinking maybe a 1960 model. What do you think?
1960 would be about right. Thistle pedal cars were Tri-ang cars made in Canada. they were renamed and had different graphics.
A good polish job with an automotive type polish should bring that paint back just fine.
As for Rare, In my opinion I would say yes for a car in that good of original condition.
This belongs in the living room!
Hi Yes,
Take a tip from the previous listing of "PedalP" He's had permission to put it on the Sideboard 'Ha Ha'
"No" all joking aside they are nice display pieces and should be shown off and the more you have have ?? the more you will want display them.
Even I have been allowed to have four nice different ones in the Living Room !
