My wife and I picked this up this weekend and need help with identifying this. We were told it was from 70s and French but want more clarification. Thanks in advance.

It reminds me of some stores bringing in furniture from Amsterdam I think but now forgot most of it. They made a lot of antique style furniture back to the 70's which looked based on Antique furniture. Some people even in my town sold a lot of their furniture they brought into town. Not sure if this falls in that category. Most of their furniture was made to look more older, and some of it was quite big.

Surely not French style... Italian or Dutch perhaps :-)

Were you intent on keeping it?
I'm not sure what more clarification you need? 60's or 70's made to look older. Please forgive me for asking, but why did you buy it??

We are going to restore it because it is a nice looking piece. We were just trying to get more info if anyone recognizes it because there are no markings on it anywhere.
