I had 4 Easter postcards but gave one to my pastor this morning.
I'm not sure why beyond their early blooming, but daffodils-- my favourite flower-- are commonly seen on these old Easter postcards from 1900-1920.
The second pic is of a Victorian Easter greeting, which I gave to my mom.
She loved it, albeit it had been folded to be mailed more than a century ago.
The third pic is from an 1828 German New Testament seen here:

Jesus died so we could live-- if we choose the gift of His life that He chose to give us. We do wrong things. We hurt one another, ourselves, and God.
Yet after Jesus had hung for 6 hours on that cross we nailed His hands and feet to with spikes, His naked and bloody body slashed to ribbons by a whip and bruised from the beatings, and before He voluntarily "yielded up His spirit," He said, "Father, forgive them: they don't know what they're doing."
And He died, went to Hell for 3 days so our sin-- once and for all, as my Bible Reading on a site today was about-- could be removed and we could be free to choose the life God wants us to have. And then one day we can go to be with Him where there is no more fear, hate, pain, sorrow, and in-the-moment emotion/feeling.
We will find acceptance, joy, love, and happiness that lasts, because the resurrection of Jesus is the resurrection of our eternal lives and our true hope, as is told in Colossians chapter 2, verse 12. When we accept God's love, we are free from the chains that bound us-- the sin that condemned us.
We are free because of this freely given gift. He came for you. Will you go to Him who takes you just as you are and will never leave you, just as is said in John 6:37?
Yes, I just delivered you a sermon. Now also take pic 4, a flower from my garden-- the first of the year.
Happy Easter indeed.
Lovely flower. The cards are lovely, too. Happy Easter, Spirit Bear. [;>)
Thank you, Nevada. You also.
