Bought this Crosley Model 88TC a few years ago and had not given it much thought until I was moving things around tonight. It was the first vintage radio I bought as it was marked down to $20. It has a bad cord so I have never tried to see if it works. It is an AM/FM radio. Many of the other wood radios also had a shortwave band.
Special thanks to Caperkid for helping me pin this one down at 1948.
Made 1945 to 1956 slide rule dial 8 tube no short wave just am FM. From the Crowley site.
Wow that is awesome
That's when people sat around the radio at night and read real books
Thank you very much Caperkid. I can't find that site could you post the link? I will update the description.

I use a tablet and can not figure out how. I googled the number on back of the radio it gave a list of the models and attributes no pics.
I work on a night shift and we listen to a station that has all the old radio movies and stories meant for radio back then so cool. Even has some of the old advertisements cool.
