Re-styled this old table. Casters are wood. I'd love to know more about this piece specifically why is the foot detail different? No signs of break, was this common practice in furniture way back when. All guesses and thoughts are welcome.

Beautiful! Do you have a photograph of it PRE-restyled, would love to see what it looked like! (You can have up to four pics here)

Was this it's original state, or did someone else also restore prior to you? Just curious. Also, you may want to "drag" the before photo to the end of the line of pics - you want your most appealing photo first, as that's what shows in the news feed!

Thanks for your help, I am completely new to your site. I got this piece from somebody who acquired it in someway that I don't know. The side of the table had lost its panels however she had them so I was able to fit the tongue and groove and secure those pieces back together. I don't know any of the history however it had previously been painted in red and white. The top surface was a complete mess as whoever worked on it previously never sanded the finish therefore The texture on top was sealed in chipped paint over more chipped paint. I had to strip and do some heavy sanding to recover the top. I MUST be better at taking before pictures of my projects. I'm always so eager to get started that I jump right in and fail to take good photos.
