An interesting Loetz Candia Diaspora Horn (or Shell, I'll let you decide) that I've added to my collection. Diaspora is identified by an overlayed cratered, moon-like surface. The overlay may be in the same color as the ground, or in a contrasting color (e.g. blue-gray on pink or blue-gray on Crete). In this case the overlay is the same color as the ground. This vase is 7.5" tall. 5" across base. 7.5" across widest width. It has a beautiful iridescent finish in hues of gold, pink, green and blue. Circa 1902. PN unknown.
PLENTIFUL - A FEAST !!!!
Nice colors...love the shape.
Beautiful shell example, majestic.
