Sometimes the Hudson Nebu-Lizor is just not enough. This walking Stick insect has an 8" long body. Please note the grenades are inert, just trust me.
These large insects are found in southeast Asia. The head is like that of the grasshopper so probably a relation. There is a much smaller version found in Southern California, perhaps 3" long and thinner than a pencil. This one is a bit thicker than sharpie.
These are so good at hiding in plane sight on a shrub we seen them at a bug exhibit in Vancouver last month.
They have got to eat them I imagine. I imagine I would clear far distance if one was near me ! Very nice display though.
Looks like some kids I know
Just kidding
Wow that is one big bug
YIKES!!! [;>)))
Thank you very much Caperkid. Luckily it is a bit cold for them up their.
Thank you very much Phil. That would be startling to see one.
And thank you very much Gruff.
And thank you very much again NevadaBlades.
Fort the cold weather keeps lots of bugs away. No tics or fleas here either, no rats, Minus 40 kills the weak.
Thank you
