I have this ballpoint pen which belonged to my father, I remember him using it in the late 1950's, he'd managed to either get a proper refill for it or found one that was compatible, he had bought it new at sometime. It recently re emerged in a box of items but I can't find any info on these pens, I can find Golmet lighters and locks but not pens does anyone know anything about these?

Same company who were based in Virginia Park,Caerphilly, Glamorgan in Wales. Made all sorts of locks, handles, pens, pencils, lighters and toys including childs "scooter". Made a "Duo" and "Trio" ballpen (2 and 3 col) aka "Color King"

I just ran across a beautiful vintage Golmet Color King Trio, The sliders all work and there is not a blemish on it.

The refills are dried up and I am not going to try to take the pen apart and replace them.

I have just obtained a Golmet ballpoint pen in the original box. This pen is mentioned in “The English Fountain Pen Industry “ By Stephen Hull, p.195. It is dated around 1950. Golmet Ltd., 15 Dean St., London W1.
