    I can't make heads nor tails of the signature on the bottom. Not quite sure of the material, either. I think this is a demitasse cup, as it is just 1 1/2 inches high. naively painted. Any guesses on that language?

    Heck, I have no idea. Help! :-)))))

      ho2 & Nevada - I thought that, too, when I saw it at the market. The longer I looked at that writing, the more confusing it became. Which way is up? How on earth do I google THAT? LOL

      I agree that it is a persian piece. Possibly 50-100 years old. Great Find!
