Here is a soft but brightly coloured postcard put out by Edward Mitchell of San Francisco after his business was destroyed by the Great Earthquake.
He was an early and popular maker of postcards, putting out many beautiful examples in the Golden Age of postcards.
Great card from the end of the steam era.
