    These paintings came in together at a thrift store. I think they are stunning. Boo-Hoo, they are unsigned. They remind me so much of AY Jacksons work and I just happen to live in an area where he lived for a number of years.

      these are very nice paintings! very distinctive use of impasto. do the scenes appear similar to the way things look around where you are from? if so, it shouldn't be too difficult to discover the painter.

      The water scene looks like Georgian Bay and the other looks like a small Ontario town.
