I searched the whole internet to find the marking, i found it and it not told me much only found the marking in period year 1200 / 1350 it also said there were replica's made round the year 1920 / 1940
So i thought still not sure now were and wich period this delicate theaset is from.
The set feels very fragile and feel the paintlines en see its handpainted.
i saw a neighbour who is from china and asked him if he could tell me more, he said there the marking he knew and thought maybe is from early period and if somebody offered me lot money to say no, i not planning to sell it, its my first Japanese Theaset and i am a horder lol, but he could not tell me for sure wich period or name this set is from .
Please someone can you tell me more about this beautifull thea set?
Can someone please help me to Find out wich period this Japanese Handpainted Thea Set is from.
With only the mark 'Dai Nippon' on the base, I'm not sure how easy it will be to ID / date the piece beyond what you've already found. It's possible someone here may be able to help ID the set based on the design but that's probably beyond my research skills. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
Thank you so much for your help a New opening for me search.
kind regards,
Rivca
